We are pleased to announce the availability of an inaugural scholarship for current college students studying health sciences. Scholarships & scholarship amounts are based on available funds. Awards may be renewed.
Eligibility Requirements:
- New Jersey resident
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. college/university with a major in nursing, social work, medical technology, or biology
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- One of the following must be true and evident in your application and essay:
- You are an advocate for organ and tissue donation.
- You have a personal connection to organ and tissue donation.
- You have an interest in pursuing a career in organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
NJ Sharing Network or Sharing Network Foundation employees and board members, scholarship committee members and fund principals, their spouse and/or children, are NOT eligible for scholarship consideration.
The Sharing Network Foundation is committed to increasing the number of lives saved through clinical advancement, donor family support, education, and public awareness about the life-saving benefits of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Scholarships are awarded to honor those who gave, pay tribute to those who received, offer hope to those who continue to wait, and remember the lives lost while waiting… for the gift of life.
